Handmade Sirens

Being a flamenco dancer myself, I am always looking for great rhythms and what to wear that can be used both on and off my flamenco persona.  If you dance, you know what I am taking about.  Here is where my friend Monique Guzman plays an important role for all dancers and not dancers alike.  Monique is a versatile, groovy fireball with lots of creativity.  She is a dancer of many styles (Sambista, Tanguera, Salsera, Flamenca, etc.) and understands our needs when it comes to wardrobe. Also, she is a fashion designer, a chef, a mom (of five kids too), an entrepreneur, a great friend, a dance teacher... and the list goes on.

She has bundled all her creativity into Turtle Productions, the parent company for her Siren Skits line, her catering, her dance performance endeavors, her catering business and her new costume line M.E.D.U.S.A. Check out her Etsy Siren Skirts Shop.

This Friday May 27th, she will host the first Siren Skirts Runway Show at the historic Brokers Building Gallery in San Diego's Gaslamp District where she will showcase the new vibrant collection of handmade, one-of-a- kind, knit wear by Siren Skirts.  I am so lucky to be a VIP Guest and have the opportunity to check out the new color and print-rich skirts, dresses, and tops all made with high end fabrics and cotton blends-  all her fashion designs work for dancing or everyday wear. Also, in the runway show will be the unveiling of the new exotic Turtle Productions costume line M.E.D.U.S.A.   What a treat!  I hope you can experience the runway show as well. See you there!
